Remember The Big Wheel?
I do, and I’ve been craving the ride of the big wheel for the past few years, always wondering if they make adult versions of them.
Today the big wheel came up in conversation, and I was determined to go through google until my eyes bled. A few pages in and there it was, a link to a place that sells the adult sized big wheel.
According to their website they are all out, and I’m thinking it’s a ploy to keep their price high - $350. Ouch, and it just may be worth it.

Yeah back in the day had some seriously cool toys. Big Wheel was awesome, and while I never had my own all the kids used to share (weird huh). The original homestead I was living had a long concrete walk which was optimum for a BW, especially when from when top speeds that you needed to execute the brake feature that would spin you.
Other toys from back then that are probably a whole lot of fun today when used or abused under the proper circumstances. Among them: Silly Putty, Sit And Spin, Etch A Sketch, and any of those cool Mego action figures that I had all of and are long gone to the sands of time (now being worth hudreds a piece)……sigh
