In reaction to last weeks news about Katie Holmes’ new “Katie Cut” which was posted here, I am beginning an in depth week long expose covering all aspects of this new “Katie Cut” - the good, the bad, and the ugly.Â
This week long series is entitled “Don’t Do It” which will most likely go down in history as being my legacy. Either that, or maybe at the end of the week I will reconsider changing the title of “Don’t Do It” to “Poorly Conceived Ideas That I Wrote Way Too Much Nonsense About”. In the end, either or is just right with me.Â
Part I - The Right Cut For The Right Gal.Â
As we take a look at this new “Katie Cut” it is obvious that the hairstyle is meant for Katie Holmes. In case you missed any of the obvious aspects of this hairstyle being meant for Katie Holmes, please, allow me…
- The hairstyle is on Katie Holmes.
- It conforms well to the shape of her head and face.
- The hairstyle is overpriced and therefore only well suited for those who can afford to wipe their asses with $20 bills.Â
This all means that if you are not Katie Holmes, her exact twin, or quite possibly an inbred cousin of hers who happens to have a similar facial structure as she has, you shouldn’t be running out to get this haircut.Â
If on the otherhand you have far too much money, free time, and a carefree attitude that would allow you to have most of your hair butchered off of your head, which will only make your skull and face look slightly less painful to the eyes than Sloth from the Goonies, then this new “Katie Cut” is just perfect for you.Â
So what I am basically trying to tell you here is that if your current goal in life is to look only slightly better than this guy, then the “Katie Cut” is for you.
UPDATE: This haircut is spreading. To read more about its spread and to find out what you can do to help stop it, click here.

That fat kid in the photo next to the Sloth would also likely look good in the Katie Holmes haircut.
As a fat kid Chunk would be able to get away with the Katie Cut, but now that he’s an adult (and a skinny one at that) this hairstyle wouldn’t be able to cut it - no pun intended.
