Things are heating up with that crazy super, and it appears as though it’s rolling down the road towards some nasty violence, of which I certainly do not condone…
I’m actually hoping that this note by itself, without actual violence is enough to get him back into the prison system in some way or another.
Plus, isn’t that note just the exact spirit of Christmas???
I especially like that he decided to use Christmas colors to deliver his holiday message.
(Also, and I wouldn’t expect you to have known this, but the super wasn’t just ranting. I don’t know how he got hold of it, but that’s actually the first draft of Linus’s speech at the end of “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”)
He used red and green in the sign, so that’s in the spirit of the season…practically like singing Silent Night to a group of orphans.

I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to threaten to kill someone.

@ Jeff & Susan, I didn’t even realize that he wrote that in Christmas colors.
@ Todd, Not sure exactly since it’s not specific to someone, and the fact that cops in NYC - especially my precinct try their hardest not to respond or do anything about anything, unless the bloody mess has already been finished.
When I saw this I was indeed shocked, and decided that in order to avoid stray gunplay or thrown knives that this building on the corner just near the local supermarket needs to be stayed away from. Where is that wonderful and useless neighborhood paper that we have? Seems there at every opening of a restaurant but god forbid something really happens in the area, its pushed under the rug by one of our equally useless political figures. Ahhh Bay Ridge.
