After being knocked out of commission for roughly two and a half months the Aramark cafeteria inside my office building reopened to full fanfare, and confusion.

Most people didn’t appreciate the use of a messy assortment of solid bright yellow and white tiles for a heavily trafficked floor.

Other than the vanity “upgrade” the place is really the same old thing, with the biggest and quite possibly the grossest err in judgement for their vanity upgrade being trading in the metal pizza plates for wooden blocks.

Metal is easily washed and cleaned, while wooden display blocks, just don’t get fully clean.

I’m waiting for the day that the built up old rabid cheese that’s become ingrained within the wood becomes full on toxic bacteria and ends up causing a quarter of the buildings population to be in the immediate need of the restroom at the same time.

Don’t get me wrong, not everything is of poor choice in the new vanity cafeteria, the chefs have come up with a new roll for the pizza counter, a pizza taco roll.

I ended up going for the taste test of it on yesterday afternoon, and to my delight I found lean cuts of perfectly grill fillet mignon in there with cheese, spices, and a side of marinara sauce.

Got to love the chefs who are actively trying to screw their company by way of underselling expensive cuts of meat.  Simply delicious…

Ugh!  I was in heaven.
