The stormy rain, fog, clouds, and snow have passed, leaving behind my beautiful view once again. Here, take a looksee on by far not the best photo…*
This was taken yesterday afternoon around 4:45PM from my desk. I literally stood up from the chair, looked straight forward and boom! That was it.Â
In the odd event that you have no idea what you’re looking at, that tall building is the Empire State Building, along with the United Nations complex in the shadows, along with many many many other buildings in there as well, along wih the East River. There are so many shadows due to the angle of the sun at that time of day at this time of year.Â
Also, not pictured, is my view north and more of my western view. A lense just doesn’t capture how much, and how far the view actually is for little old me, and in all seriousness, if the view were to be taken away, meaning if they were to move my cubicle to a none view, the job would lose about 50% of its worth to me.
* I know you’re probably thinking, why give us a crappy photo, why not post a good one, and well, to be honest, when it comes to the pristine view, I’m slightly selfish in sharing it.

Hi, just found your blog today thru the Times mention of the wacko super in Bay Ridge. They linked to Right in Bay Ridge, who linked to you. Whoa, my head’s spinning on that one.
Anyway, I’m drooling over your view. I don’t think I’d get any work done if I had a view like that. I live 2 hours away in PA, but come into the city @ least once a month to wander because I love it so much. Are you sure you won’t share a good pic w/ a country girl who’s a city girl @ heart?
Tracy, the TIMES?!?!?! mentioning of the wacko super of Bay Ridge? Could you please pass along a link to it? I’ll try my best to obtain a better photo of my view for you.
You betcha, here you go:

2nd paragraph
I love their cityroom blogs, I’ve found so many cool things there.
Cool cool, thank you, Tracy. The photo might be longer than your quick and speedy link.
You’re very welcome. No problem, I’m not going anywhere, and am willing to wait for quality. I’ve bookmarked your blog, as I read through a bunch of entries, & they’re great.
Seriously, I don’t know how you get any work done w/ that in front of you.
Have a great one.
Oddly enough, I no longer come in a get hit by the spectacular nature of it, and kind of take it for granted.
