I draw someone&#039;s blood, and I physically place their hand on the wound and say &quot;hold firm pressure on this for at least a full minute.  Don&#039;t leave this room for at least a minute.  Don&#039;t lift anything heavy with that arm for at least an hour.&quot;

Never fails, at least two people a day completely ignore me, pick up their massive purse/bag with that arm, and walk out the door right behind me, usually while gabbing on a cell phone.  Then they come back 4 minutes later and complain that there is blood running down their arm...</description>
