I just laughed at my manager’s boss (he’s new and always very jokey) during a meeting (while making full eye contact with him) for saying that he thought my two coworkers and I were the best at what we do. 

I thought it was a joke seeing as how the three of us are the only ones that do the job. 

He wasn’t joking and looked at me as if I were an idiot.
