Relaxation Is Annoying

This week I fully realized that one persons annoying bullish!t is another persons form relaxation.
Seriously, no matter what one person does that gives them good internal vibes of relaxation, there is an equal and opposite reaction that takes place in someone else in the form of absolutely loathing the fact that said first person is doing said relaxing thing.
I know that some of you right now are saying to yourself, “Not everything!”.
Yes everything!
- Do you play your iPod on loud on the subway to relax in the crowd?
- Do you wear sunglasses?
- Do you go to the beach?
- Do you read? (Yeah, reading takes the piss out of people)
- Do you smoke?
- Do you drink?
- Do you laugh out loud with your friends in public?
- Do you read a book while listening to your iPod while wearing sunglasses on the subway?
- Do you enjoying humming along out loud?
- Do you practice Tai Chi in a park?
The list could go on of course, but that would be futile. I think I’ve sufficiently gone on enough with it.
So please, next time you’re enjoying yourself while internally saying F UUUU!!! to the world around you realize this…that person with whom you just made eye contact with wants nothing more than to wrap that iPod around your neck while strapping you to a rocket on its way to the moon.
No, I haven’t fallen off the deep end into a violent anger, I’ve just been reading a lot of faces recently.
