I’m officially in the middle of crazy arse bee season in my backyard.  With the hive of these big fat bumble bees roughly ten feet up off the ground it’s truly amazing to have a plethora of bees flying around antagonizing one another for better access to the blooms of my garden.  Check out this one that was part of the giant orgy on my seven foot tall rhododendron…
