Check out this optical illusion…
It looks as though it’s something that hung on the wall and kept my mind occupied throughout high school sequential math, thereby leading to my never actually learning the FOIL method.
In reality, it’s a tight shot of a Wachovia Securities building downtown Manhattan.
My eyes are officially crossed!

First Outer Inner Last. I remember the words but have no clue what I used them for. I also remember my strange teacher used to put a piece of foil on his head everytime we were supposed to use the FOIL method.
Thanks for the reminder JK. I remember learning that FOIL stood for First Outside Inner Last, but I never quite brought myself away from the boredom to actually learn how to apply it…
