Beetle Love

While in Prospect Park I was taking notice of the cool colors that were painted on this support beam and noticed something…something…SPOOKY!!!

A spooky little beetle!

At first I thought it might be an Asian Longhorned Beetle (and would have gladly killed it by eating it), but I have photos of them on my refrigerator and this guy didn’t quite look like the ALB in the photos - and he had a friend was was climbing up to join the knob perch.

Here they are communicating with one another…

The one on top was telling the one on the bottom that the round knob was really cool and that they should have a romatic moment and enjoy the view from it.
