I Hate NYC #28 Parades For Everyone

NYC is a very festive place that loves even the tiniest excuse to throw the spectacle of a good parade - and thankfully for NYC, everyone under the sun is here and they all seem to get their parade.

Sure most everyone loves a good parade, but when there are so many parades for so many things that people don’t celebrate or equate themselves as being, parades tend to be the opposite of fun for most, causing those parade days become one big headache for most.

The best recourse to this is to pretend to be part of any and everything that throws a parade, attend, try to fit in and go with the flow - but you’ll have to quit your job and cut off all contact with everyone but parade goers who only attend one or two parades a year.

Otherwise, just grin and avoid the main parade avenues at all costs.
