It’s something called “Play Mobile” and it is some sort of official NYC Parks Department creepiness.
It was the first and only time that I have heard of such a thing, and from the looks of it they basically just set up various games in a park and have kids play them. In this case they were playing pool on a really small pool table…
Seeing this site made me feel as though this NYC Parks Department program is the creepy equivalent of Scientology, the Mormons, and Jehovah’s Witnesses all rolled into one.
