Vista Sucks

I unknowingly bought an HP laptop containing Vista on it a couple of weeks after Vista came out.  Had I known the headaches that Vista was or even known that Vista was out I would have never have bought the laptop, and instead would have bought an Apple C – because that would probably have worked better.

I say this because out of the box Vista did not allow simple tasks to be done – i.e. play a DVD, play a CD, read any sort of disk or allow anything to be done that involved a secondary device or software.

Each time that I ran into a problem with it I would run into the customer service wall of “That’s not our problem”, and when I would finally bark at a customer service rep long enough for them to admit that they can fix it I would receive my laptop fixed of the initial problem, only to be replaced with two or sometimes three new Vista and HP problems.

And now at present time my laptop is dead in the water, or at least drowning.  I magically got it booted up to copy all files to an external hard drive only to find out that the external hard drive is not compatible with Vista – which the box says it should be.

Vista, go suck giant cow balls – I will NEVER, EVER use you again under the nae Vista or Windows 7, or whatever else you want to be called.  SUCK IT!!!

And HP, you will NEVER, EVER see a dollar from me again – your India phone service reps are about as helpful as a pound of salt in a 16oz glass full of water on a 120 degree day!

Coolness!

We’re less than two months from the early spring blooms in my neck of the woods, and I cannot wait to see the fresh greens as much as you do.

Until then all I have to do is look at photos like this one from this past August…

It’s of a bee fluttering itself while enjoying the deliciousness of that hyssop…TOTAL COOLNESS!!!

The Bendheim Building

On occasion I find myself with the dingbat brain of an 11 year old boy, and one such occasion was when I saw the name of this building…

My brain had this one sided conversation with itself while speaking in a foreign accent:

“Hehe…it’s the Bendheim Building…hehe…the Bend Him Building…heh…”

Baron Von Fancy

I had never heard of Baron Von Fancy before, but I spotted a sticker for one such Baron, looked him up and found out that Baron is a someone or something…

According to their website, Baron Von Fancy is responsible for those cool creatures that adorn many a building all over the city.

This creature sure does look like one of the Baron’s creatures, and I dig it!

Tribeca’s Art Boobage

I stumbled across an door that was abandoned in the name of use as a stand pipe that was full of artsy fartsy boobie porn!

And if there’s one thing that I like, it’s artsy fartsy boobie porn!
