I unknowingly bought an HP laptop containing Vista on it a couple of weeks after Vista came out. Had I known the headaches that Vista was or even known that Vista was out I would have never have bought the laptop, and instead would have bought an Apple C – because that would probably have worked better.

I say this because out of the box Vista did not allow simple tasks to be done – i.e. play a DVD, play a CD, read any sort of disk or allow anything to be done that involved a secondary device or software.
Each time that I ran into a problem with it I would run into the customer service wall of “That’s not our problem”, and when I would finally bark at a customer service rep long enough for them to admit that they can fix it I would receive my laptop fixed of the initial problem, only to be replaced with two or sometimes three new Vista and HP problems.
And now at present time my laptop is dead in the water, or at least drowning. I magically got it booted up to copy all files to an external hard drive only to find out that the external hard drive is not compatible with Vista – which the box says it should be.
Vista, go suck giant cow balls – I will NEVER, EVER use you again under the nae Vista or Windows 7, or whatever else you want to be called. SUCK IT!!!
And HP, you will NEVER, EVER see a dollar from me again – your India phone service reps are about as helpful as a pound of salt in a 16oz glass full of water on a 120 degree day!
