Shea Stadium Brick!

My bonus Christmas gift arrived this past week for Girlfriend. It’s a brick from Shea Stadium that used to be in fair territory.
After missing out on getting one in the autumn, I happened across the auction site on Christmas Eve to find them back up on sale!

The box weighed 8lbs and that sticker is part of the authenticity. I’m always dumbfounded when I see a halogram sticker as being the authenticity. It’s only a sticker!

The cement in the slots second from the left slide in and out of the brick!

Lastly, here’s the letter that certifies the brick as being a brick that comes from Shea Stadium fair territory (1964-1980) and then became hidden behind the 338 foot sign in either left or right field only to be removed post 2008 season.
Who are Shea Stadium/Mets geeks…US!!!

A piece of tile and a piece of chipped “Shea Blue” cement. Everything else was far beyond the fence.
