Tuesday afternoon I decided to walk over the Gowanus Canal for the first time ever.
I remember the canal appeared disgusting to my eyes (and it is disgusting).
Yet from this quick snapshot I have here the canal looks oddly beautiful – oil/gas(?) tanks, scrap heap, Lowe’s, Manhattan bound traffic and all.
