Not My Last Post…

This is most likely not my last post but it is most likely the most cliche blog post that I have ever written – I really don’t want to write this anymore.

It could be that I’m mourning the California trip or the headaches that my hosting provider are giving me this weekend and that all of this will come to pass and that I will eagerly want to write this daily junk in a day or two.  At the same time I’ve realized that over the past few months that I honestly want to focus my writing elsewhere - the kind that is not meant for the world to see and just in a document in my hard drive until I rewrite it numerous times and is an actual single body of work.

Remember, this isn’t my last post, especially since I promised to write a follow up regarding an ongoing local issue, so I will definitely do that.

In any event, comments have been disabled as I no longer want to deal with them.

Maybe I’ll just show photos 99.99999% of the time…?

Vacation Comings And Goings

I’m back from a much needed awesome vacation to San Francisco and the neighboring wine country to the north.

This is the view from Matanzas Creek Winery out in Santa Rosa.

It was the last winery that I visited before flying home.  While at Matanzas I had nothing going on in my mind except for peace and happiness due to the peaceful surroundings.

The peaceful surroundings that Matanzas has is based off of one part amazing lavender garden, two parts awesome vineyard and three parts being surrounded by nothing but amazing scenic views.

Upon getting out of the taxi, dropping the luggage off and going out to see if any local pizza shops were still open at 12:30AM for a slice I saw the local avenue flooded with guidos.

“Oh f*cking guido bars!”  I said with disgust and it was then that I became aware – guidos (and those who aspire to be guidos) is the one thing that one misses least about NYC while away on vacation.

Should you ever wish to take a vacation from the civilized world I strongly suggest going to a bar called Trace in Bay Ridge.

Day VII

I’ve been on vacation this past week and should return to new and uncanned posts tomorrow with something about San Francisco or something.

Enjoy!

Coolness!!!

Meet the wisteria gangsta!

Bumble bee on wisteria bloom…TOTAL COOLNESS!!!

Day VI

I thoroughly enjoy watching the television series Life After People and find myself thinking about how cool it would be to travel through NYC 20 years after the last human being left.

Imagine this to be Year One.
