Ladies and Gentlemen, here is the exterior of the world’s largest kaleidoscope!
It is located in Mt. Tremper, N.Y. (a touch down the road from the real life Love Shack) and was built prior to the personal computer/internet revolution. We imagine that a similar kaleidoscope type of show could likely be created on a computer in an afternoon, which is a far cry from the amount of time that must have gone into transforming a silo into a kaleidoscope.
We imagine that somewhere, someone might feel a little sheepish about making this, but the amount of kitsch in it makes it worth the five buck admission.
