With the slight touch of snow that we got in the New York City area yesterday, we finally had a chance to test out our Yaktrax traction attachments to see if they actually do any good and help make walking in the snow an easier task.
Shortest answer: Yes, they make walking in the snow much easier. The only downside to them is that they are not that widely used yet, so we got the stink eye from several folks as we put them on our sneakers while riding the subway.
