I’m Lovin’ It

While in London, we noticed these mobile garbage collection units outside of some of their McDonald’s.  We assume that they actually pay employees to go out and find the trash that their customers discard on the floor of the neighborhood that surrounds their McD’s.

What a WILD concept!  Such a shame McD’s doesn’t employ such practices here in the States.  You know, trying to be a good neighbor and all.  Instead, we live with the filth of McD’s until the wind picks it up or the rain washes it down into sewers.

Giant Marmaduke Rides London’s Underground

The New York City Subway System and London’s Underground are vastly different in nearly all categories.  From what we gathered, the Underground is cleaner, more reliable, more technologically advanced and far more expensive that our system is here in New York.  But one thing appeared to remain the same to us: the riders.  The riders on both sides of the pond are an eclectic mix of people who are simply trying to get from Point A to Point B in a quick and efficient manner — sometimes with giant stuffed animals.

We found our nail-biting friend riding with Marmaduke on the Tube.  He was bringing Marmaduke along as a gift for his five-year old sister — at least that’s the tale that an overly chatty, slighty crazy lady, told us after Marmaduke and friend exited the train.

Peternoster Square

While climbing up to the top of London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral, we spotted this nicely shaped square down below.

It’s Peternoster Square and the rain thankfully washed away the hoards of annoying French tourists.

Go Bananas Today

It’s Cinco de Mayo today, so if you’re a 20-something with unchecked alcoholic tendencies, by all means go bananas today.

Not that you need encouragement.  Cinco de Mayo is all the excuse you need to binge your life away, which is in addition to the NHL playoffs, NBA playoffs, May baseball, and don’t forget, Mother’s Day!

Field Of Spring Flowers

By going to London in April, we managed to get a double set of spring blooms this year…

TOTAL COOLNESS!!!
