Spring In Central Park
According to the folks that do the weather on the news, Spring officially arrived yesterday, March 20th, at 1:14AM, though when we were little and in school, our teachers always taught us that Spring arrived on the 21st of March here in the northern hemisphere.
Anyway, Spring is officially here, and we know this by way this weeping willow tree in Central Park looks. Happy Spring!!!
Happy High Line Groundhog Day
We don’t need Punxsutawney Phil to tell us whether or not spring is around the corner — we have the Manhattan’s High Line to tell us that!!! The winter blooms of witch hazel are fading, and the spring blooms of pussywillows along the High Line are beginning.
Stay in the ground, groundhog!
