Seeing the fountain at Washington Square Park covered in snow like this almost makes this shot appear as though it could have been taken in nearly any small town USA.
And by small town, we mean St. Louis, Kansas City, or Indianapolis.

We tend to think that inside every photographer is a painter who is dying to burst out. This is because we feel that people who snap photos of life are the ones who, for whatever reason, don’t or can’t paint. So, given our love of photography, it should be no surprise that we think that this mural on the side of construction wall is simply stunning.



And yes, we totally wish that we had those painting skills.
We were in a fisheye photo mood last night along the Brooklyn Promenade as we admired the towers of light.

Since we don’t have the proper equipment for nighttime photography we weren’t sure how the images would come out due to our primitive nighttime set up. Thankfully, odd luck occurred, and the shots came out in a lomo-style, which we quite enjoy.



We didn’t heed warning of the signs stating for us locals not to enter Times Square the other day.

We wanted to snap a shot of what a rat’s eye view of the center of the universe looked like.
