Christopher Lloyd Sells Stoves In Argentina

A couple of weeks ago, as we strolled through the terminal at Jorge Newbery Airfield in Buenos Aires, we spotted this awesome Christopher Lloyd cardboard cutout in the store directly outside of the airport security/x-ray/metal detector checkpoint.  He’s looking old and extra weathered nowadays.

Not only do the lovely people of Argentina find themselves in the market for large household appliances directly prior to going through airport security and then flying off to a distant destination often enough, but Mr. Lloyd apparently makes his living nowadays hawking stoves in Argentina.  This is what he does now.  Yes, indeed.  Who knew?  WOW!

NYC Subway Fireworks

New York City is an odd place, to say the least.  However, considering how many people live and work here, and how antsy both officials and citizens alike are to the thoughts of explosions and fire, New York City has a heck of a lot of public displays of explosive fireworks.

While we’re in complete agreement that fireworks are best left to the professionals, we are sometimes left to scratch our head as to why there are so many random displays of fireworks.  Independence Day, and the completion of minor league baseball games are the usual source for cause of fireworks here in NYC, but shortly before 8PM on a random weekday night in October is very random.  So, we’re left to assume that we have a benefactor out there who was just so happy we got off of the F train at 4th Avenue, that they just had to show it with fireworks.

Thanks, whoever you are!

A Simple Summation Of America

We found this American flag to be in the exact position that it should be in — given the state of Congress over the past 17 or so years, and the poor decisions of our Presidents over the past 11 years.  Our elected officials are politicians, and as such, not leaders.

America, land of crippling politics, and home of an ignorant stalemate.

Handjobs For $45?

We’re not sure if this massage parlor on East 7th off of 2nd Avenue is as advertised…

But we sure as heck wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they are EXACTLY as advertised on the street, as seen in the above photo.

The Mets Can’t Even Fill The Player Parking Lot!

The New York Mets have done so horrific for the past few seasons that they have ongoing troubles filling up the new stadium…

Not only that, but they even have trouble of late filling up the PLAYER parking lot!
