We spotted this red stallion down on Main Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

It’s a beast that is already contained! ZING!
Q: What can brown do for you?

A: Block a scenic view of the East River and lower Manhattan from Brooklyn Heights.
Thanks, UPS. Thanks!
We passed the site of the old Bay Ridge crack house, where workers have been busy for the past year, building three beautiful new two-family houses.

While more work is still needed on the interior, the facade appears to be complete, and we need to tip our hats to the owner(s) and developer(s) of the buildings. They managed to build three houses to be both beautiful, and within scale, of the existing neighborhood. Even better, they even put in three sweet new front yard gardens, and there are no out of place, ugly Fedders’ units to be seen.

Perhaps other developers in Brooklyn will now realize that they too can in fact make money by building homes that are within the scale of an existing neighborhood, that they can indeed put in front yard gardens, and that new buildings do not need to be big, boxy, glassed up, Feddered up, pieces of crumbling junk in order to turn a profit.
We recently noticed, that with all of the construction that is going on with the Brooklyn Bridge, it’s kind of looking as though it’s becoming one of those things from War of the Worlds.

Can somebody put a call into Tom Cruise and see if he’s available to save us all?
