Here’s a self-portrait from inside of the restroom at Rosario’s Pizza on the Lower East Side.

Rosario’s makes some of the best pizza in this fine town of ours.

This Is Your Wake Up Call

They spent nine figures building this glass tower just so that someone could put “this is your wake up call” on the windows in pinks lettering.

It could have been worse, it could have read, “this is your margin call!”

Happy High Line Groundhog Day

We don’t need Punxsutawney Phil to tell us whether or not spring is around the corner — we have the Manhattan’s High Line to tell us that!!! The winter blooms of witch hazel are fading, and the spring blooms of pussywillows along the High Line are beginning.

Stay in the ground, groundhog!

Freedom Tower February 2012

The Freedom Tower is nearly as tall as the old Twin Towers were, and is now merely another Goliath of a building in Manhattan’s skyline.

So much so, that Manhattan’s smog blurs the tower from a distance now. Smog, yummy!

Art Is My Weapon

An artist wrote “art is my weapon” along the sidewalk of Manhattan’s West Village.

Art was also the weapon of choice for the CIA against the Soviets during the Cold War. Jackson Pollack… Bleh! Shudder!!! Given this, we’ll assume that there’s a CIA operative or two in the West Village.
