Bunnies Vs. Roosters In Brooklyn

Whenever we walk past Poly Prep Country Day School in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, we cannot help but notice that the feral and wild animals, as well as the fowl, race toward the fence for food.  We’ve also always wondered if any of these living creatures would discover how delicious their fellow neighboring creature was to the taste buds.

A Brooklyn Sunset

The other day we witnessed a spectacular Brooklyn sunset.

Oddly enough, seeing it in photo form makes it seem much more peaceful than it actually was.

The Unnecessary Gate

We love ornamental church gates as much as the next, but this one has us scratching our head.

They have an imposing six foot-plus tall gate door that is smack dab in the middle of a two foot tall fence. 

It truly makes us wonder if those who decided to got for this gate actually thought about what Jesus would do.

Buddha Visits Construction Site

It’s Buddha himself!  All greenish yellow and jolly – although without being able to see the face I can only assume that this is the Buddha of Plentiful Construction.
