A DUMBO Mural

We tend to think that inside every photographer is a painter who is dying to burst out.  This is because we feel that people who snap photos of life are the ones who, for whatever reason, don’t or can’t paint.  So, given our love of photography, it should be no surprise that we think that this mural on the side of construction wall is simply stunning.

And yes, we totally wish that we had those painting skills.

Fisheye Lily

The best way to enjoy the bloom of a lily is up close and personal…

TOTAL COOLNESS!!!

Daisy Does Brooklyn

Our backyard is currently a field of daisies and so we thought that we’d play with the camera and a single daisy.

Fisheyed KFC

The scent that wafts out from this KFC has always made us want to yack.

Yet it looks oddly good through the fisheye.

Cat In A Box

Our cat is ever so slightly too long to fit in this old Amazon.com shipping box, but that doesn’t stop her from getting comfortable in it.  She has two positions for it.  The one she is pictured with holding her head resting on a flap.  The other position being curled up in a ball to the point where we could in theory closed the flaps.

This box is her crack.  It was moved off to a corner on the other side of the room for several weeks.  When were in the process of moving the empty box back to this original spot our cat jumped off of her chair, ran across the room over to said spot, nearly knocked us over in the process and jumped into the box before it was even fully on the floor.
