Freedom Tower March 2012

Lower Manhattan’s skyline is reaching up and touching the sky once again thanks to 1WTC.  Here are some of our latest photos of the construction progress from One World Trade Center, aka the Freedom Tower.

05/01/2012 UPDATE: And if you would like to see how the Freedom Tower/1WTC looked in other months, click here for January 2012, click here for February 2012, click here for April 2012, click here for May 2012, and click here for an assortment of pics taken over the past year and a half or so.

Lou Reed, I Love You!

We’ve been seeing “LOU REED, I LOVE YOU!” quite often tagged up around Manhattan of late.

And all we have to say to this admirer of Lou Reed is this: the dude probably won’t love you back because he’s in love with heroin.

East River Alligator

If you look to the left of this photo, on the beach, you’ll see an East River Alligator – cousin to the Hudson River Alligator!

It’s not nature’s beast!

The Alternate Detour

The alternate detour…

For when you just want a change of scenery from the regular detour.

The Woolworth Building’s Backside

Seeing the backside of the Woolworth Building like this is just wrong.

Like, crazy person’s butt being displayed for all to see on the subway sort of wrong.  Or, at the very least, elderly couple caught in the act 40 minutes after taking a hit of the blue pill sort of wrong.  And quite possibly, woman wearing a pantsuit while also wearing sneakers sort of wrong.  It’s just plain old wrong to the Woolworth Building’s backside.  Bleh!

Though it does how some big, long, and wide backside cleavage there.
