And the random ship from the Narrows in the shadows adds a nice flavor too.
This is a fine example of the Narrows and the Verrazano Bridge at dusk, with a plane heading in for a landing at LaGuardia in the sky.

It’s a mighty fine day.
It’s cool to see the seasons change before our eyes by way of looking up at the sky. Despite it being the middle of August, that’s autumn sky and it feels so good to be under.

Kind of like how being under the sun on a 60 degree day during the January thaw feels so good.
Whenever we come across a person who is heavy on the gums and light in the teeth we feel ever so slightly uncomfortable. A person could have impeccable, perfectly straight teeth, but the matter of their teeth being half the size of their exposed gums creeps us out.
To us, the sight of giant, exposed gums, is the naked old man who shamelessly walks around a public bathroom in the nude while he “showers” in the sink — we are never ready to see such a sight.

With that said, this shot of the sunset reminds us of a person who is heavy in the gums and light on the teeth — though with it being in a sunset, it is actually calming to see.
Sometimes you go for the big picture only to find that it’s all about the foreground and how it can frame your intended target.
