The Sultry Day Lily

With each day of above freezing temperatures, we can feel the air being that much closer to providing the return of summer’s flowers.

T-minus one month until the first crocus blooms.  As for now, we’ll have to simply enjoy this orange day lily with its sultry look… TOTAL COOLNESS!!!

Another Brooklyn Sunset

It’s a modern Bob Ross…

Big, beautiful skies, along with a plane taking off out of Newark Airport.

Fisheye Lily

The best way to enjoy the bloom of a lily is up close and personal…

TOTAL COOLNESS!!!

President Obama Graffiti

We’re oddly intrigued by stencilled graffiti.

And in this case, where President Obama’s face got way too much orange, we cannot help but wonder just how annoyed the artist was by seeing the final product like that.

World’s Best Orchid

Cost of an in bloom orchid for a person who knows nothing about flowers and has way too much expendable income to know the true value of a dollar: $149.99.

Cost of seeing an overpriced orchid that has spent its blooms and would have given someone many more blooms should they have given it a little tender loving care thrown into the garbage: Priceless.

Thank you, Tribeca!
