MILF Sale

We found further evidence in Little Italy that the retail industry is in trouble…

Up to half off on all MILF’s…

Locals Getting Restless Over Uncle Louie G’s

On Monday we posted about how Uncle Louie G’s ice cream is planning to open up a shop in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn on 3rd Avenue at 87th Street.  All that the sign pretty much said was “coming soon” but that’s just not cutting it for the people of Bay Ridge, who have been lacking an easily accessible source of the deliciously yummy Uncle Louie G’s ice cream for far too long.

We spotted a note affixed to the front window of the soon to be Uncle Louie G’s last night that asked, “How Soon?”

The locals are restless with a fever, and the only cure is Uncle Louie G’s Jamaican Rum Raisin ice cream.

Health Comes To Bay Ridge Retail

There are two big new healthy spots set to open in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.  First up, the old Hella’s Imported Food Market space on 4th Avenue at 87th Street has a new business coming in.

Bay Green is set to open in the location and it’s promising “Fresh Natural Organic Specialty Foods.”  We look forward to being able to peruse healthier food options without going out of the neighborhood, or having things shipped in specifically for us thanks to the near total lack of healthy food options in the old fashioned supermarkets.

Next up, the long established Bay Ridge Bicycle World shop is converting their front window from a bicycle display case to a juice bar.

Soon you’ll be able to get freshly squeezed fruits and vegetables from inside, or the walk-up window.

These two developments occurring at the same time is almost enough to make our head explode from the awesomeness!  Good luck everyone!

Why NYC OTB Closings Are Bad

First off, we would like to thank Senator Marty Golden for finally doing some good in the New York State Senate by not voting in favor of bailing OTB out.  The sight of Off-Track Betting parlors having closed is such a refreshing and good thing on many levels.

It is also a troubling thing.  For now there is no one-stop, clear-cut place, where we can see nearly all of the people from a neighborhood who are the exact opposite of what we shouldn’t end up allowing ourselves to become in this thing called life.

Now we’ll have to go to either a track, or one of many local Dunkin’ Donuts for that, and even then, it just won’t be the same.

A View Of Dennis’s Hairstylist

For the half dozen or so of you who are working on this Black Friday, enjoy the view of Dennis’s Hairstylist in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

And yes, according to an English Second Language website, that is proper grammar being used on that sign.
