It’s getting warm again, and that means that it’s not too frigid to head on down to the western most point on the Isle of LongĀ for some photos of the sunset.

Here’s a shot of the Verrazano Bridge with a post sunset glow of purple haze.

There’s something about those clouds that when combined with the bridge’s tower, make it appear as though it’s a monster rising from the deep.
We caught this shot of the Washington Square Arch as a three piece string band was busking it just a sliver after sunset this past Sunday.

Now that it’s all cleaned up, it sure does have a sweet glow to it.
The old freight/rail transfer station in the Buttermilk Channel…

As it gives off a soft glow of the sunset.
We aren’t sure if the cranes are in Bayonne or Newark, but they make for one heck of a setting for a sunset.
