And they are a helpful reminder that Big Brother is always watching us here in NYC.
The Freedom Tower is nearly as tall as the old Twin Towers were, and is now merely another Goliath of a building in Manhattan’s skyline.



So much so, that Manhattan’s smog blurs the tower from a distance now. Smog, yummy!

An artist wrote “art is my weapon” along the sidewalk of Manhattan’s West Village.

Art was also the weapon of choice for the CIA against the Soviets during the Cold War. Jackson Pollack… Bleh! Shudder!!! Given this, we’ll assume that there’s a CIA operative or two in the West Village.
Just like the Muppets before them, the Angry Birds have taken Manhattan.

We recently came across this suicidal plant hanging out on the ledge of a building in the West Village.

We were glad to see that a kindly pigeon flew over to it in an attempt to talk it down.
